MSR in the News

Not only does MSR represent employees - from high level executives to those in the trades – the firm also represents Judges and Government employees.  Retained by a female Peekskill, New York (City Court) Judge who was subjected to harassment and mistreatment by her colleague, Judge Reginald J. Johnson, MSR senior partner Bruce Menken traveled to Peekskill, interviewed and took statements from witnesses and then submitted an extensive report to the NYS Commission on Judicial Conduct seeking the discipline or removal of Judge Johnson.

Last week, Menken’s efforts and the firm’s client’s concerns were validated as the NYS Commission publicly issued a statement and agreement in which Judge Johnson agreed to step down from his Peekskill City Court position and never run for or hold judicial office in the State of New York ever again.

The case has garnered press attention, with articles in the Mid-Hudson News, the Times Union, and Law.com.
